Abstract :
Traffic systems are characterised by instantaneous, and often unpredictable changes in their behaviour. Due to this characteristics, it is worth developing control approaches able to react quickly to traffic changes. For such a reason, in this paper a closed-loop control approach for optimising the performances of special classes of vehicles is presented. To this end, a control algorithm is described.
