Abstract
In this paper, we propose the WYSIWYAS M-CubITS pedestrian navigation system using texture paving blocks. WYSIWYAS is a basic navigation display design concept with the meaning of "What You See Is What You Are Suggested". In this system, colored textured paving blocks are used as markers. Positioning is performed by taking a picture of these markers with a mobile terminal built-in camera. As a result of the experiments, this system has a capability of location determination with taking a picture of 12 texture paving blocks (3.6 m) in a 2500 km long way.
