Abstract
We have developed a multimedia communication environment for children and handicapped and elderly people. This environment, named "F-Communication system," is based on self-explanatory components and multiple interfaces. It allows users to manipulate components and send multimedia messages using only mouse clicks. Self-explanatory components for communication and an overview of two interfaces of the system are presented.
