Abstract :
As the development trend for product research and development, design chain is a new competition and management mode. The essence of design chain is collaboration innovation. Firstly, collaboration innovation types are analyzed. Secondly, three modes of collaboration innovation are presented based on the role of core enterprise in design chain. Thirdly, a three dimensional collaboration decision model for design chain is given. Finally, in order to improve effectiveness of collaborative innovation, the collaborative platform for design chain is proposed.
