According to the comparing of three models of the staggered shear panels structure and one models of the traditional frame-shear panels structure under low-cyclic loading, the performance of the staggered shear panels, such as failure appearance, hysteretic characteristics, energy dissipation capacity, rigidity degeneration, displacement ductility. The result is follows: comparing to the traditional shear panels structure, the staggered shear panels structure has higher lateral stiffness, and present better initial rigid. It´s displacement ductility and energy dissipation capacity is a little lower than the traditional shear panels structure, but when the layout wall is rational and structural measure is proper, the staggered shear panels structure still have good displacement ductility for seismic resistance.
