Abstract :
The construction and development of “two-oriented society” in Wuhan city circle should be combined with the development of colleges and universities in the region. It´s necessary to update the concept and evaluate the development status and problems existing in the interaction between urban communities and universities. It´s recommended that the win-win situation, interactive and common development concept and strategies should be established to ensure the healthy and sustainable development of both sides. On the basis of investigation, the following suggestions are derived: 1) direct and coordinate the development of both sides based on the principle of interaction and win-win situation 2) strengthen the cultural interaction and focus on building the harmonious culture of city circle;3) establish the “two-oriented society” subjects and cultivate the innovative talents;4) reform and explore the forms and approaches of social service for universities;5)establish the appropriate management mechanisms, including interaction base, resource-sharing mechanism, and so on.
