Abstract :
A compact and broadband three-port left handed coplanar waveguide power divider is presented. The left handed power divider is designed using a simple left handed T junction. The left-handed T junction power divider/combiner has the advantages of its broadband (2.5 times wider bandwidth) and compact size (50% size reduction at the mid frequency) compared to conventional T junction. The theory of left handed power divider is introduced and the detailed design procedures were explained. Finally, the design is validated using electromagnetic full simulations. The results confirm the power division and compactness of the proposed compact device.
