Abstract
In this paper, we propose a simple peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction algorithm for code-division multiple access (CDMA) systems. Based on constellation extension, the described algorithm does not need sending any side information to the receiver and approaches the performance of the optimum PAPR reduction procedure, while avoiding its excessive complexity. Performance of the proposed algorithm is investigated using binary phase-shift keying (BPSK) modulation
