Abstract :
The paper analyzes the logistics industry in diversified railway with data development analysis, and then empirical studies scale efficiency and scale economy with CRS and VRS on the basis of the statistic materials of diversified railway logistics enterprises in 14 railway bureaus. The result shows that diversified railway logistics in total has scale economy, but has not optimal scale point. Its trend is waving. Scale efficiency is decreasing from 2006 to 2009, and the scale efficiency difference is expanding, which is the main reason to the decrease of operating efficiency in diversified railway logistics.
