Abstract :
The analysis of HRV spectrum, where parasympathetic (PNS) and sympathetic (SNS) nervous systems present their influence suffers from the insufficiency of precise methodology as both mentioned influences have totally nonlinear behavior. Therefore a new approach has recently been proposed, which expands nonlinear systempsilas dynamics into modal components in the system inputs. The most significant system modes may be extracted from such decomposition. This is extremely important to elaborate first and apply a method for separate analysis of both main factors modulating heart rhythm. Linear filtering is not sufficient as mentioned influence appear at the same time and overlaps. Principal Dynamic Modes has been utilized to analyze nonlinear biological systems and can be interpreted as a means to approximate nonlinear systems as linear combination of the Wiener systems.
