Abstract :
An analytical method is proposed to characterize the performance parameters of linear photoconductive semiconductor switches by studying the transient response of the photo-conductance of PCSS´s suffered from the irradiation of Gauss-like optical pulse, and the effect of some important parameters on the characteristics of linear PCSS´s are investigated.
