Abstract
A multi-variable controlled AFC (automatic frequency controller) (AFC) is installed in Minami-Fukumitsu BTB (back-to-back) to stabilize the frequency of the power system after a large disturbance (like one part of the power system is divided from the other part) and to enhance suppression of frequency fluctuation. This paper shows study results on unique problems caused by system configuration and test results using an actual power system to verify performance. It also shows the effectiveness of power system analysis
