Abstract :
Fully concerning with the influence of signal down-leads and other parasitical capacitances, the author produces a novel researching way to measure water-in-oil percentage based on the small capacitance sensor. This paper has proposed the principle of water-in-oil percentage detection, capacitance to voltage signal conversion, the design of capacitance sensor and the structure of the whole measuring system. It is demonstrated that the measuring instrument can detect water-in-oil percentage rapidly and accurately and avoid the potential harms resulting from hydraulic and lubricant system.
