Abstract :
In this article, we propose a flux simulator based field oriented control scheme in suitable combination with a classical compensation network, based on generalized proportional integral (GPI) output feedback control, for the robust output feedback trajectory tracking task defined on the angular velocity of a simplified model of an induction motor subject to a completely unknown, but bounded, load torque perturbation input. The robustness is under stood in the satisfactory trajectory tracking performance of the closed loop system with respect to an entire family of local polynomial models of the perturbation input virtually substituting, only for design purposes, the actually bounded but totally unknown load torque perturbation input. The proposed output feedback control scheme is implemented via a multilevel sliding mode based Sigma-Delta modulator.
