Abstract :
With the fact that the information exchange has been increased drastically and rapidly, data integration systems have been received attention over past ten years. The main goal to these systems is to provide to a common source, like a database, over a vast of multiple, disparate information and repositories, including databases, object stores, knowledge base, file systems, digital libraries, information retrieval systems, and electronic mail system. However, since the required data from various data sources so that there exists user access delay because the integration system has to retrieve all required data by issuing the queries to each data source for extracting data there. In order to accelerate the user´s access speed, most integration systems introduce semantic caching mechanism. When a query comes, if the query can be answered partly or fully, then only the part of cache missing is need to be extracted from each source. In this, paper, we explore a semantic caching mechanism for tackling the performance of existing cache integration systems.
