Abstract :
The airflow distribution in discharge channel is simulated by the Realizable k-e model, the calculating area is dispersed by Finite Volume Method. Based on SIMPLE algorithm, the flow field of discharge channel is simulated and calculated by means of disconnect equation solver. The movement of the dynamical wind is used for simulating the movement of the ion wind; the distribution of vertex and its influence on the distribution and collection of dust are gained. And the simulation result is verified by physical experiment. The theoretical guidance is offered for improving the efficiency of the electrostatic precipitator (ESP).
