Abstract :
Possibilities of calibration of polirimetric side-looking radars with synthetic aperture (RSA) as per natural area-extended targets taking into account Faraday effect are analyzed. Algorithmic formulas allowing the compensation of radar apparatus distortions in the case of Faraday effect are given.
