Residual swing will often be generated in the overhead-traveling crane drive by factors such as the delay and the friction of the machine even if it is controlled along the pattern. Therefore we have confirmed, by computer simulation and practical machine, the effect of the fuzzy control method which combines the means of the control of positioning and swing prevention
