Abstract
With grade 2 students in primary school as subjects, this study conducted an experiment to explore the influence of 2 modes of presentation on students´ recognition and recall of Chinese characters. The research results indicated that: (1) Modes of presentation had significant effect on students´ Chinese characters learning, and dynamic presentation was superior to static presentation. (2) The advantage of dynamic presentation had notable effect on simple task of character recognition, whereas it had no significant effect on complex task of character recall. (3) Sex difference had no significant effect.
