Abstract
This paper presents three-dimensional W-band images of some common explosives and substances that can be used to produce explosives. As an introduction, some information about the imaged materials (DUTs) is given. After a detailed description of the measurement setup, multiple views of the three dimensional image data are presented. Data features that could be used for detection of the explosives are proposed. At last, estimates of the thickness of the DUTs and the permittivity of the imaged substances are extracted from the image data.
