Abstract
Summary form only given. Optically pumped T-shaped quantum wire (T-wire) lasers with high quality are realized recently, in which three lasing lines L1, L2, and L3 have been observed./sup 1/ We study emission spectra and images of L1-L3, in comparison with those of spontaneous emissions (photoluminescence: PL) of T-wires, an arm well, and stem wells, to investigate transverse modes and origin of L1-L3.
