Abstract
The paper presents the conception switching process, optimum drive and thermal design of current fed inverters for induction heating applications. Depending on the switching frequency IGBT or MOS technology is used in the construction of the inverter bridge. Thermal analysis and practical construction of the developed generators are also explained
