Abstract :
The tracking RLS algorithm with low computational complexity for application in cellular communication smart antenna processor that allows one to decrease the cost of the base station is presented. The proposed implementation of the algorithm has higher performance than conventional RLS algorithm because it requires only vector operation and has a regular structure. We present the software and hardware implementation of the proposed algorithm and comparison of computational complexity and convergence with conventional RLS algorithm
