Abstract :
In this paper, the efficiency of automatic repeat request (ARQ) algorithm with selective reject (SR) in communication links with large signal propagation delay (GSPD), such as microwave satellite communication links, is measured in terms of throughput. The throughput dependence of pure SR algorithm on code block length n is considered for some channel conditions. Recommendations on evaluation of optimal n and implementation of received results in GSPD channel applications are stated
