Abstract
Industrial Engineering together with Mechanical Engineering, etc. is called the five major engineering in the international arena, and industrial engineering education has also undergone for a hundred years of history with its industrialization. Industrial Engineering in China is a young and emerging discipline that its higher education has only gone through a course of twenty years. The higher education of Industrial Engineering need to be further researched and improved. Based on the investigation of the undergraduate education of IE in some universities and the employment situation of graduates, a quantitative analysis of IE professional Curriculum system based on QFD is carried out. The study is aimed at optimizing IE professional curriculum system, and hopes provide reference for other professional curriculum systems´ optimization.
