Abstract
The Italian ministry of defense (IT-MoD) is working together with NATO (North Atlantic treaty organization) allied countries in order to improve the radar sensors and the identification systems, so as to better protect the air space, the war fighters and to reduce fratricide fire. In particular, TELEDIFE has now in progress significant procurement actions of radar and identification systems with state-of-the-art technology taking into account that the IT-MoD has the requirement to make available to the Italian ministry of communications the S band frequencies necessary for the Wi-Max/ Broadband Wireless Access systems.
