Abstract :
A technological gyrotron with a fast 2% frequency manipulation has been developed, manufactured and tested. Frequency modulation is based on the variation of magnetic field by low power additional coil. The output power up to 10 kW with 20% efficiency has been demonstrated. This gyrotron might be used to increase the ion current of multi charged ions sources (ECRIS).
