Study on Location-specific Advantages of Embedding Multi-national Corporation Value Chain in Liaoning Province Based on Horizontal Comparison

In the new historic opportunity, it is very urgent to verify, measure and evaluate the location-specific advantages and disadvantages of embedding multi-national corporation value chain in Liaoning province objectively, by using empirical analysis method. The cluster analysis showed that Liaoning´s attractive power of market capability is above the average level of the country. And the attractive power of labor force cost is at the average level of the country, the attractive power of infrastructure is at a high level of the country. Meanwhile, Liaoning has a better historical and realistic basis at the aspect of opening to the outside world. To consider all of the indexes, we find that the location-specific advantage of embedding multi-national corporation value chain in Liaoning is relatively distinct.
