Abstract
The problem of estimating the quality factors of generated crossed-field systems is described. The problem of determining the most significant factors affecting the output spectrum is stated. To gain a better insight into spectral components an interaction between the components of the cross-field system is schematically presented. Referring to the analysis below, it appears that a detailed study on each structure component is needed and in terms of the foregoing, the quality parameters of these systems have to be specified.
