  • Abstract
An analysis of characteristics of terahertz range, possible areas of its implementation and an existent radioelec-tronical element base has been performed and approaches of design of one of the most promising scientific and technological direction - terahertz telecommunications by means of development of digital telecommunication systems for a transmission of ultrahigh-speed (more than 1 Gbps) communication flows have been observed. The alternate designs of a solution of the problem of a construction of a digital system of terahertz range at frequency 130-134 GHz with the use of QPSK modulation and combined QAMFM modulation have been originated as well as the analysis of their capacity. The requirements to the main parameters of the system have been defined and a testing of their compatibility with the proposed variants of a construction of a digital radio-relay system of terahertz range has been conducted.
