  • Abstract
This paper deals with an application of multiagent self-organization techniques to intelligent sensor networks. We sketch a multiagent system´s architecture according to the AEIO method for the EnvSys project. This multiagent system consists of self-organizing hybrid agents. We present interesting results in the last part showing the benefits of this approach compared to traditional ad-hoc protocol performances.
