Abstract
This paper addresses the reduced-order filtering problem for discrete-time T-S fuzzy systems. Based on multiple Lyapunov function approach, a sufficient condition is given in terms of the solvability of bilinear matrix inequalities. An iterative algorithm based on the linear matrix inequalities is developed to compute the corresponding filter gains. A numerical example is given to illustrate the validity of the design methodologies.
