Abstract
Results of 900-MHz propagation measurements and three-dimensional path loss prediction models for a number of typical indoor cellular system environments are presented. Statistical expressions describing the observed excess path loss due to floor reflections and clutter, as well as the propagation characteristics of multistory buildings, are discussed. Radio coverage and cochannel interference predictions for indoor cell planning are presented for a modern office building. Simulations of an indoor system using adaptive channel allocation (ACA) are performed
