Abstract :
Introduces a modified 64QAM trellis decoding method, which uses channel state information (CSI) in computing the branch metrics. The CSI is obtained by correlating the received channel sounding sequence with the known PN sequence in channel estimation. After the modification, the BER vs. SNR performance has been increased up to 1 dB over multipath channel environment
