Abstract :
The real-time interactive distant education has been gradually applied to the actual teaching activities. The real-time interactive distance e-learning environment is urgent needed to support teachers and students to carry on collaborative learning over network and Internet. This paper presents an infrastructure for real-time interactive distant e-learning environment based on the VNC technology. The computer´s desktops that are used by teachers and students can be connected directly through VNC server and VNC client to implement the common real-time interactive e-learning functions such as the electron blackboard simulation, the broadcast, and the surveillance monitor. The system can be applied to the distant collaborative learning with original teaching program.
