Abstract
Secondary school English teaching plays a key role in English education in China, while its current status, especially in the countryside, is not as good as we expected and thus innovation in this field becomes indispensible. This paper analyses a questionnaire research statistics with SPSS 16.0 and tracks down the barriers to innovation in secondary school English teaching in the countryside of China and puts forward some innovative strategies in this field, such as the innovations in management and training programs.
