Abstract :
In this paper, a transformation for improving the coding efficiency of non-uniform sampling delta modulation (NS-DIM) in color image processing is presented. It aims to alleviate the sharp changes in intensity between neighboring pixels in a new space and achieve a good compression ratio compared with processing RGB space directly by correlating the redundancy among the RGB color components
