Abstract
Several unproved hypotheses are formulated and discussed. The diffraction on the metallic Mobius band is investigated. The band is infinitely thin and its width is much smaller then the wavelength. In the usual plane band, or in the band rolled up into the ring, the two sides of the surface are separated by its edges. The Mobius band is a single-sided surface, that is, from any its point it is possible to reach the point located under it without passing through an edge. In order to return to the starting point, it is necessary to go along the both sides of the band, covering the distance twice larger than the band length.
