Abstract :
Influence of ocean environment parameters is seldom considered in the traditional evaluation method for the detection range of sonar. Importing the idea of analyzing acoustic field under uncertain parameters of ocean environment, the influence of the variance of horizontal media on sonar detection range is taken into account when there are linear internal waves in the ocean. Monte Carlo method based numerical simulation is adopted to analyze the changing rules for sonar detection range at the existence of internal waves.
