  • Abstract
We consider the performance of direct-sequence (DS) CDMA in wireless environments that are characterized by multipath Rayleigh fading channels. Specifically, we propose and analyze a multiuser detection receiver, which employs diversity combining along with an adaptive multistage interference cancellation strategy, for the demodulation of asynchronous DS/CDMA communications in the presence of imperfections in channel parameter estimation and power control
