Abstract
An experiment for measuring phase variations and signal coherence in very shallow water is described. The experiment was conducted off the west coast of Italy by SACLANTCEN during spring 1998. The core of the experiment consists of ten towers with transducers and hydrophones carefully positioned in a water depth of 10 m, 800 m from the coast
