Abstract :
In the predistortion power amplifier linearization system, output of the power amplifier must be feedback to acquire the nonlinear distortion information. After quadrature demodulation, usually both the in-phase and quadrature part of the feedback complex signal should be sampled. This paper proposed a novel predistortion linearization method based on the quadrature nonlinear model, which needs only the in-phase or quadrature part of the feedback complex signal, so the hardware costs can be reduced. Simulation results show the effectiveness of this method for suppressing the spectrum regrowth caused by the nonlinearity of the power amplifier.
