Abstract
In this paper, a combination of fuzzy decision logic and Kalman filter is investigated. The application to one-dimensional radar tracking problem is studied. Simulations illustrate that the fuzzy-Kalman filter can achieve faster transient and better steady-state estimations than the traditional Kalman filter does. The stability analysis of this kind of filter is also examined
