Abstract :
The constraints of formalism of clear-cut instantaneous quantum measurements for a series of experiments were addressed. The shortcomings of existing approaches to modeling weak continuous quantum measurements (WCQM) were analyzed. It is shown that they can be replaced with an equivalent information approach, in which mechanism for obtaining information, is not essential and the dynamics of the observed system depends only on the information of the generalized measurement parameters. The experiment on observing the Rabi oscillations in a solid phase quantum bit is described. The equation for calculating the energy spectrum of the random process related to such measurements is derived.
