Abstract :
Based on the ICX229AK image sensor chipsets, the capture of the video signal and multi-formats display is completed under the DSP + FPGA + ASIC architecture, and key technologies, such as auto-focusing and auto iris, are executed in the FPGA. Some new type practical functions such as mouse driver, OSD display, etc are expanded. The frame rate is raised to 60Hz and the image is zoomed by PW1226. Eventually, the PAL digital video is converted to the VGA format, the resolution is up to 1024 *768. The designed camera includes three outputs of composite video, S-VIDEO and VGA video signals, and can be used for real-time monitoring, video presenter and so on.
