Comparing of lineaments extraction from ALOS and Landsat images for supporting exploration of geothermal field in Indonesia

Abstract :
This article explores two different images with different resolution to extract lineaments feature. The medium and high spatial resolution remotely-sensed images were used in this study are Landsat 7 ETM+ and ALOS PALSAR. Our additional algorithm stages in medium resolution Landsat 7 ETM+ image successfully discriminating fracture in different geological environment, the result almost similarly with high spatial resolution image.
