  • Abstract
In order to get an on-line acoustic control of the FRV Thalassa (mainly dedicated to fisheries researches), we have developed a system called SABRINA (systeme d´analyse du bruit et de l´instrumentation du navire=system to analyse the noise and the equipment of the vessel). The SABRINA system is able to acquire and to process on-line the acoustic signals obtained through a hydrophone fixed flush to the acoustic bases blister. Owing to dedicated software, the SABRINA system is able to perform a real time spectral analysis and to display the results in a way easily and quickly interpretable by the users. The first in-situ experiments had been successfully conducted in October 1997. The SABRINA system must help the users before and during the fishing cruises in order to control and to observe, at each time, the equipment and/or the vessel noises
