Abstract
Probability density functions were derived for estimations of phase incursion and frequency shift that were realized by the method of rectangular waves and maximum a posteriori probability. It has been established that in the case when the anormal errors take place, the phase difference measurement accuracy decreases drastically, if the method of rectangular waves is in use, while the accuracy remains the same practically, if the maximum a posteriori probability method is applied.
