Abstract
The authors present a pipelined structure for real-time L- and C-filtering operations which uses a number of pipeline stages less than or equal to the number of bits in the binary representation of the input data. The method uses a bit-level thresholding operation on input data in binary representation and distributed arithmetic.<>
