Abstract :
Summary form only given. In two-dimensional (2D) electron systems, tilted magnetic fields lead to subband-Landau-level coupling and associated excitations of mixed character referred to as combined intersubband-cyclotron resonances. These hybrid modes have been extensively studied using infrared and Raman spectroscopy. Recently, the observation of coherent intersubband charge-density oscillations generated by ultrafast optical pulses was reported in a high mobility 2D electron gas. Here, we present results in the presence of a tilted magnetic field revealing coherent intersubband-cyclotron coupled oscillations. Our sample is a one-sided modulation-doped GaAs-AlGaAs single quantum-well.
